Co-Editor-in-Chief

After two years of eating, sleeping and breathing Rowdy Magazine our time together has come to an end.
Just like all of my other speeches I’ll keep this one short and sweet.
Ever since I first saw The Devil Wears Prada I made it my mission to be part of the fashion world in any way possible. Did I think it’d be as co-editor-in-chief of a magazine in Gainesville? Definitely not, but who am I to question the universe?
As someone who is generally averse to teamwork and camaraderie, I always loved working with any and everyone on our team. The creative industry’s greatest minds are currently lurking in the Rowdy Slack, I’m sure of it.
Every moment and accomplishment from the past two years is something I’ll treasure until I’m old and telling my grandchildren the same five stories from my college days.
Gabi, thank you for being my partner in all of the ups and downs we’ve gone through in the past two years. We’re trauma bonded for life.
Aurora and Lola, I cannot wait to see where you two take Rowdy. Good luck and make sure to get as much sleep as you can now because I can guarantee that there won’t be much for a while.
Now as I go into my last semester before graduating (scary, I know) I’m ending the book on what I think will always be my favorite chapter.
Love you always,
Juliette
P.S. For the very last time, please turn in your Slack notifications for 24 hours!
