Have you ever tried this one. It’s short, it’s sweet, and it’s just a little extra…Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet Deluxe Album is here. Just when we thought her Two Grammy Awards marked the end of this era, she pops out with 5 more cheeky, flirty, and oh-so-relatable songsThis perfect addition wraps up the whole album, taking us from our Notes app to our bedrooms to our complicated exes.

Her lyrics, while seemingly fun and upbeat, actually tend to carry a double meaning (and if you took it the dirty way first then I hate to break it to you, but Gainesville, FL, has corrupted you).The Deluxe album’s feature of songs like “Couldn’t Make it Any Harder” and “15 Minutes” sureeeee do tell us an awful lot.

On it’s face, “Couldn’t Make it Any Harder” is about how hard it is to love her, but from her Nonsense outros, I think we’re quite familiar with what else she makes hard  Sabrina Carpenter has never been afraid to scandalize the public a little (throwback to Feather and the Catholic Church beef), and she’s done it once again.

The song 15 Minutes, for example, Is about how long she needs to make you finish …..this album of course where the five new songs’ duration can be added up to a whopping total of fifteen minutes! Also, it could be a tribute to comments she received about only having “fifteen minutes” of fame.

Sabrina Carpenter is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Her songs have hidden meanings and she leaves Easter Eggs all around; her music is much more than a combination of good choreography and radio hits. We see beloved Dolly Parton on “Please Please Please” and man does Sabrina Carpenter’s future look bright. We see a continuation from the original music video, starring then boyfriend Barry Keoghan. And he’s no where to be seen in this version…or is he.

Carpenter hints to her and Parton teaming up and ridding herself of that man because he apparently did not listen to what she very nicely asked him not to do.Finally, with songs “Busy Woman” and “Bad Reviews,” we might find ourselves relating a little bit too much.

The amount of times we here at Rowdy Nation have received screenshots from friends of the lyrics “I can’t lose another boy that’s not even my boyfriend” with the message: “SO YOU” is one we would rather not disclose. All in all, it looked like Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet Era got a teeny less Short and a whole lot more Sweet.
